Birds... er... Bikes of a Feather

Folks have been nice enough to send us pictures of their projects from time to time.  It just occurred to me that I should put some of their pictures up for everyone to see.   I apologize to those folks who have sent pictures in the past, but you have to start somewhere.

So much work to do!!

An official "Old Fart" Ralph Mason of Amesbury, England sent a picture of his "project" to be.  He was wondering where to find parts... but on the other hand, what for??  This thing looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor!  Fully restored in 2001, way to jump in there and get your hands dirty, Ralph!  ;-)

Tony - Another 45 From Down Under

resultsrealty@aapt.net.au

Ron Menna - Philadelphia, PA

Jim Hay - Washington

Ok, so it's not a Harley but it's old and it's great looking so we'll add it here... a picture of Jim and his Indian Chief.

Jim was interested in the pop up pistons and thinking about doing the same thing to his Chief.   He also likes to fly so Jim, if you're ever cruising by Ann Arbor, you've got a free ride in the Starduster!

David Stands

Here's a couple of pictures of David's beautiful 1935 Harley... and his early 40's Indian Scout with a 250cc Bultaco engine.  Yep, you heard right... Indian Scout and Bultaco!  The little 35 Ford Roadster isn't too shabby either!

Kenny Crider

Kenny sent me this picture of his 45... well a 45 motor anyway!  The frame, forks, tanks, and seat he made himself.  Talk about ambitious!!

Dave B. - Australia

Dave has similar ideas with the BSA M20 gearbox disc brake front end , Honda 750 rear hub, Amal carb, home made forward controls.  Says it took 7 years to build with hacksaws, hand drills, grinders and plenty of Beer to ward off the frustrations!  ;-)

Lance Counsel - Australia Again!

Lance wrote and said he took this bike apart in 1974 and has been struggling to find parts (and I'm sure time) to get it together again.  Three kicks to get it going once it was all back together.  Don't we just love those forgiving 45 engines!!
